Biochemical Consulting Services by Dr. Mascotti

Dr. Mascotti holds a BS in Chemistry from Hope College and a PhD in Biochemistry from Texas A&M. He furthered his research as an NIH post-doctoral fellow in the Biology department at Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, he serves as a full Professor of Chemistry at John Carroll University, where his research lab focuses on gene expression, protein-DNA interactions, and biological oxidative damage control mechanisms. Additionally, Dr. Mascotti provides expert witness testimony in forensic DNA analysis for legal cases, including those related to mesothelioma. He also offers nutrition consultation services within the human, pet, and equine supplement industry.
